How to Setup Your Recent Posts and Recent Comments on the Sidebar

To show your recent post on the sidebar is very easy, you just follow the instruction below then you will see your recent post on your blog sidebar.

Here are the steps on installing the recent posts widget:

1. Log on to your Blogger account.
2. Go to Layout tab, at the Page Elements section decide where to place the widget then click "Add a Gadget".
3. When the pop-up screen showed up, scroll down and find the gadget "Feed" then click the blue plus button (+) on the upper right side of the gadget.
4. At the blank which you will enter your feed URL, enter this  http://yoursitename.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default.Make sure to replace “yoursitename” with your actual blog url.Note that you should replace "yourblog.blogspot.com" with your blog URL.
   
   
5. After you have enter the URL, press continue. The gadget should start retrieving your feed.
6. Change the Title to “Recent Posts” or “Recent Entries” or whatever you prefer to call it. You can also choose to show the item dates and author.

Note: If it doesn’t appear on your blog, chances are you don’t have the correct feed url or you might not have any comments yet.
